A new version of Yoast SEO Premium 23.0 has been released.

  • Converts the Yoast Related links block to the Blocks V3 API and refactors it to an editable list of item blocks.

Yoast SEO 23.4 brings more enhancements and bugfixes. Find more information about our software releases and updates here.

Enhancements​

  • Disables the highlighting buttons whenever AI Optimize is used.
  • Enables the AI Optimize feature for the keyphrase in introduction assessment when the introduction is part of a Classic block.
  • Improves the success rate of AI Optimize suggestions for a post that contains list blocks.
  • Prevents showing the "not enough content" error message when AI Generate is used before the content is fully loaded.

Bugfixes​

  • Fixes a bug where a full stop would be added at the end of a previous sentence instead of the newly suggested sentence when using AI Optimize.

Other​

  • Bumps the minimum required version of Yoast SEO to 23.4.

Perhaps some files from previous installations that remain in the Database are slowing down optimization.
1. Remove both Premium and free plugins. When deleting, save the plugin settings file.
2. Clean and optimize the Database.
Preferably the Advanced Database Cleaner PRO plugin, but you need to be able to use it. Before that, make a Backup of the Database.
After that, scan all the Tables (and their attachments) of the database in real time.
Then delete the orphaned Options.
Save the settings.
3. Clean the site cache.
4. Install the free Yoast SEO plugin from the website wordpress.org .
5. Set the optimal plugin settings. Check its performance.
6. Install and activate Yoast SEO Premium.
